Ed is a seasoned executive with over 40+ years of general and financial management experience. He is a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker, who for three years was with with the highly respected commercial real estate services firm of NAI Realvest, based in Maitland, Fl. He has been a very successful real estate broker as part of the Parker Realty Group, with offices in Orlando & Lake Mary/Sanford area. Ed has handled a variety of commercial transactions including purchase and sale of office and industrial buildings, tenant rep for office and industrial space.
Ed’s high level experience as a CFO and former CPA provides him with the skill set to do selective Business Brokerage as well. He served as COO for several companies, most recently Moore Stephens Lovelace (MSL), a regional CPA firm. Based in Orlando, MSL has 4 offices across Florida. Previously, Ed was President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstar, LLC, a Washington D.C. based television broadcasting company which owned 5 television stations affiliated with Fox and Home Shopping Network. Founded in 1988, Blackstar operated for ten years, under his direction, before a highly successful sale of its stations in 1998 to Bud Paxson and Barry Diller. Ed has also held the title of Chief Financial Officer or Controller for a number of companies and developed a reputation for great people skills, operational efficiency and financial reporting integrity everywhere he served. He was a Florida CPA and Senior Auditor with the international accounting firm of Ernst and Young, in it s Miami, Florida office. He was also honored for his distinguished service as a U.S. Army Protocol Officer.
